A Sisco Honeywell safe provides a secure location to store valuable or personal items. The Sisco Honeywell safe operates with an electronic lock. The lock uses a numeric security code. If you forget the security code, the safe includes an emergency override key to give you access to your belongings, with an opportunity to reset your code.
Standard Unlock Process
Enter your security code on the safe's keypad, followed by the "#" symbol. Your code should be three to nine digits. If this is the first time you are opening a new Sisco Honeywell safe, enter the manufacturer's default security code, "159," followed by the "#" symbol.
Watch for the green light to illuminate. The lock will click open if the security code is correct. Turn the handle clockwise and pull the door open.
Enter the key again if you see a blinking yellow light. The blinking yellow light occurs when the security code is not correct.
Wait 20 seconds for the lock out period to complete if you enter the security code incorrectly three times in a row. The lock out period extends to five minutes after four incorrect attempts, then to one hour after seven or more mistakes.
Push the arrow on the battery cover and push down to remove it. Pull the batteries out of the compartment.
Insert your Emergency Override Key into the lock behind the battery compartment. Turn the key to the right.
Turn the knob clockwise and open the safe. Leave the safe door open. Turn the Emergency Override Key to the left and pull it out of the lock. Replace the batteries in the compartment and reposition the cover.
