Replacing the Filter in a Bryant Plus 80 Gas Furnace
The Bryant Plus 80 is an induced-combustion gas furnace designed for use in residential settings. The furnace is equipped with a replaceable filter that collects dust and debris to prevent it from entering the system.
Bryant recommends replacing the filter at least twice every year to keep the furnace operating efficiently. Check the filter once a month to see if it needs to be replaced more often.

Turn off the filter power switch, located to the right of the filter compartment, near the bottom of the furnace.

Twist the filter compartment door handle counterclockwise to unlock it.

Swing the filter door away from the Bryant furnace to open it.

Grasp the end of the filter. Pull the filter straight out of the compartment to remove it.

Slide the new filter into the filter compartment as far as it will go.

Swing the filter door closed.
