Liquid electrical tape is a flexible coating that can be applied to any part that you want to protect from moisture, abrasion, the elements or even salt water. Once it's dry it does not become brittle and will not harden or come off, even in extreme weather conditions. However, if you do need to remove your liquid electrical tape, it is possible. There are no solvents designed to remove the dried coating, so you will have to cut it off.
Cut a slit down the center of the rubber coating, running the complete length of the tool that is coated. Be sure not to cut into your object.
Peel back the large parts of the coating.
Remove the coating from the small crevices of the part by using a craft knife to carefully dig into the small areas.
Carefully pluck the small bits of coating form the remaining crevices of the part, using a pair of tweezers.
