Designed for use with floors made of stone, tile, laminate or engineered wood, Nuheat electric radiant floor heating systems come with a user-programmable thermostat that is simple to program and operate. Spend a few minutes programming the heating schedule for your Nuheat thermostat and make stepping out of bed onto a cold floor a thing of the past.

Step 1

Program your Nuheat thermostat to display the correct time and date. Hold down the "Select" button for two seconds to access the thermostat's programming menu. Use the "Up" or "Down" button to highlight the "Time+Date" menu option and press "Select." Highlight the desired time format option and press "Select." Use the "Up" and "Down" buttons to set the hour, minutes, year, month and day of the week; press "Select" to confirm each change.

Step 2

Set the weekly schedule for your thermostat. Press and hold the "Select" button for two seconds to access the programming menu. Highlight the "Week Schedule" menu option using the "Up" and "Down" buttons; press "Select." Highlight the day of week that you want to modify and press "Select." Highlight the day type for the selected day and press "Select"; choose between "Workday," "Home Day" or "Away." Use the same process to modify any other days of the week. Highlight the "Exit" menu option and press "Select" to exit the programming menu.

Step 3

Program the workday schedule for your Nuheat thermostat. Access the programming menu, highlight the "Workday" menu option and press "Select." Highlight the segment that you want to change and press the "Select" button; choose between "Wake," "Leave," "Return" and "Sleep." Use the "Up" and "Down" buttons to adjust the hour and minutes; press "Select" to confirm each change. Set the desired temperature for the "Wake" period and then press "Select" to return to the workday sub-menu. Use the same process to modify the "Leave," "Return" and "Sleep" segments if desired. Select "Exit" from the menu to leave the workday sub-menu.

Step 4

Set the schedule for your thermostat for the days that you are at home. Access the programming mode, highlight "Home Day" and press "Select." Highlight the segment that you want to modify and press "Select." Use the "Up" and "Down" buttons to set the hour and minutes of the chosen segment; press "Select" to confirm each change. Adjust the temperature to the desired value, then press "Select." Use the same process to modify the other segments as desired. Highlight "Exit" and press "Select" to return to the programming menu.

Step 5

Select the proper operating mode when using your thermostat. Hold down the "Select" button for two seconds to access the programming menu. Highlight the "Mode" option on the programming menu and press "Select." Use the "Up" and "Down" buttons to highlight the desired mode and press "Select"; the thermostat will then run the program associated with the selected mode.
