Your GE GLDT696 dishwasher makes several different beeps during the cleaning cycle. For example, when your dishwasher finishes a cycle, it will beep to remind you that it's completed the task. If you do not enjoy the excessive beeping, you can toggle the sound settings off. This process is straightforward and can be done via the control panel located on the front of the dishwasher.
Locate the "Heated Dry" keypad on the display screen. The button is labeled "Select" and mounts to the far right of the heat cycle selector lights.
Press the button five times within three seconds.
Listen for three consecutive beeps. This indicates that you have toggled the sound settings into the off position.
