How to Reset a Viking Dishwasher
Founded by fourth-generation building contractor, Fred Carl, Jr., the Viking Range Corporation has been manufacturing residential appliances since 1983. In addition to the ranges for which they are most well known, Viking also offers a popular line of 24-inch, built-in dishwashers for easy kitchen clean-up.
If the electronic control panel of your Viking dishwasher malfunctions, you will be unable to select or start a new dishwashing cycle until the panel has been reset. Fortunately, resetting a Viking dishwasher takes less than five seconds.
Tip
Reset your Viking dishwasher from your electrical service panel if holding down the "Start" button fails to restore normal operation. Flip the circuit breaker switch that controls your dishwasher into the "Off" position. Wait two minutes before flipping the switch back to the "On" position.

Resetting instructions may vary slightly by dishwasher model. Consult your owner's manual or contact Viking customer service for model-specific advice.
