Remove stickers from crystal with vinegar.

When a sticker is adhered to a crystal surface, you may try to pull off the sticker but are left with the sticky adhesive. The elegant crystal can quickly become damaged when you use improper ingredients and chemicals that eat away at the finish, plus many commercial all-purpose cleaning products leave behind an unattractive film on the surface. Luckily there is an inexpensive household element that safely removes the sticker and adhesive from your crystal without causing damage.

Step 1

Drench a paper towel with white vinegar and lay it across the sticker. Let the paper towel sit for about five minutes.

Step 2

Remove the paper towel and pull off the sticker.

Step 3

Rub the paper towel over the crystal if any adhesive remains.

Step 4

Rinse a fresh paper towel under plain water and wipe over the crystal to remove any remaining vinegar or adhesive residue.

Step 5

Rub a soft cloth over the crystal to prevent water spots.
