Lucien Piccard was a Swiss watchmaker who founded his eponymous company in 1923. Today, the Lucien Piccard watch company describes itself as "the affordable quality Swiss watch." If you have purchased a new Lucien Piccard watch or received one secondhand, you may need to reset the watch to the correct time and date. Setting your watch should take a minute or less.
Set the time by pulling the small dial on the right side of your Lucien Piccard out as far as it will go. You may feel it click up to three times to reach this position. Turn the dial to move the hands on the watch face to the correct time. When you reach the correct position, push the dial firmly back down. When the dial is correctly pushed back, the watch will begin ticking and keeping time.
Set the date if your Lucien Piccard watch has a date facility. Pull the small dial on the right side of the watch out until it clicks twice. Turn the dial counterclockwise to adjust the month if your watch also features a day display; if not, you can turn it either direction. Next, push the dial back down as far as it will go to start the watch working again. You should not adjust the date when the hour hand is showing between 11 and 1 to prevent damage to the mechanism.
Set the day, if your Lucien Piccard watch has the facility. Pull the dial on the right side of the watch out until it clicks twice. Turn the dial clockwise to spin the day display on the face of the watch. Push the dial back down as far as it will go when you have set the day to restart the watch.
