Things You'll Need
When you purchase a Libman mop for floor cleanup, you acquire a powerful and versatile mop that will enable you to keep your home spick and span. As you use the Libman mop, the fibers of the mop head become soiled. Remove the mop head from the mop and wash it in the washing machine to clean the mop head. Return the clean mop head to the Libman mop so you can continue to keep your floors sparkling clean.
Grasp the mop at the collar, just above the mop head.
Pull the collar toward the top of the mop in the opposite direction of the mop head.
Hold the collar in the uppermost position and remove the mop head. Release the collar.
Place the mop head into the washing machine. Set the washing machine to a short, warm cycle and add the minimum amount of laundry detergent.
Remove the mop head when the washing machine finishes the wash cycle. Hang the mop head to drip-dry from a clothesline.
Place the mop head back onto the mop by inserting the mop head back onto the mop. Push the collar down into position to hold the mop head in place.
Replace the mop head after using it 50 times.
