Clean Vikrell tubs with mild cleansers.

Vikrell is a blend of resin, fiberglass and filler that creates a smooth, glossy, durable tub surface that is resistant to chipping, cracking and staining. The non-porous surface is fairly easy to clean. Just like any other tub surface, you want to clean the Vikrell tub weekly to remove soap scum, dirt and other residue that accumulates through regular use of the shower.

Step 1

Wipe down the tub surface after each use with a clean rag. Use a damp rag for heavier buildup.

Step 2

Fill a spray bottle with 2 cups of water and 2 tsp. of dish soap.

Step 3

Spray the solution over the tub and scrub with a wet nylon scrubbing pad. Rinse the tub when finished to wash off the soapy residue.

Step 4

Clean the tub jets monthly. Fill the tub with hot water until all jet openings are submerged. Add in 2 tbsp. of dishwasher detergent and 1/2 cup of bleach. Run the jets for 10 minutes and drain the tub.
