Welcome to Plant Week: Our guide to all things indoor plants, including tips for beginners, advice on care, and tons of plant-spo.

We get it: Caring for plants is hard. That's why we feel it's our duty to share any and all hacks, secrets, and products we uncover in our research. Which brings us to the holy grail of secret weapons: Aquatic Arts' Indoor Plant Food.

As we often do, the Hunker editorial staff was, mid-meeting, off on a tangent about our latest amazing Amazon finds, when the topic of this plant food came up. Our director of audience development swore by it, claiming that she's never had an issue with a dying or drooping plant since she first discovered this product. So, as a self-proclaimed brown-(OK fine, black-) thumbed-person, I decided to act as the ultimate guinea pig for this plant food — and, I am here to confess, it seriously works.

My roommate had a dying Yucca plant that she was this close to giving up on — hence why she let me try this as a last resort. I simply added this fertilizer while watering and, after only a couple of weeks, it miraculously sprouted new leaves. Since then, it has slowly but surely come back to life, granting me major street plant cred.

And the reviews can corroborate: While the numbers aren't mind-blowing — Amazon has 350 four-and-a-half-star reviews as of publish date — each of the reviews claims that this fertilizer either brought their plant back to life or gave it a little extra oomph almost immediately (in some cases after only one day).
